Sanjay Dutt has to go to jail for 4 and a half years.According to the judge who announced the verdict of 6 years on him he has already spent 1 ½ years and 4 ½ years would also pass soon. We keep reminding ourselves that ‘this too shall pass’. Just like happiness, sorrow doesn’t stay for long but in the Indian judicial system there never seems to be light at the end of the dark tunnel.
Sanjay Dutt after being arrested in 1993 after the bomb blasts that shook Mumbai has been a good citizen. I am also a Pucca Mumbaiite and even he is He would never have thought that the crime would be this heinous. He has been acting in movies giving great hits one after the other. He acts in movies which are made for the masses and particularly the Indian masses. He is very rarely seen in those post card movies shot in foreign locales made specially for the NRIs. He has acted in movies like Vastav(National Award winner), Dus (He was a police officer out to catch a dreaded terrorist) and Lage Raho….how can one forget the jadoo ki jhappi, it moved even the stone hearted –I don’t cry in movies types –to tears.
Please please who ever is reading this I want our countrymen and women to pardon him.He deserves it.He is not a rapist…that’s a very gruesome crime.He has not shot anybody pointblank.He has not run away from the country.He has not burnt any woman for dowry….People generally rejoice when a celebrity is caught and put behind bars but not this one.He has done a lot of good work after that horrible day…he acts in great movies keeps up the economy of the country…he is very adorable…and a very emotional human being…he has suffered enough and realized his mistakes.Those people should be punished who have no remorse.And when the great peace loving countrymen of ours can release a dreaded terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar,walk hand in hand with him and hand him over to the taliban can’t we pardon Sanju baba …is he worse?
